STEM & Soccer Education Day 2024 Recap
Hartford Athletic hosted the third annual STEM on Soccer Education Day on May 21st, 2024. A record 3500 students and educators from schools throughout Connecticut showcased their amazing projects throughout the concourse of Trinity Health Stadium. After the showcase concluded, students enjoyed an exhibition match between Hartford Athletic and Hartford City FC. STEM and Soccer Education Day is an educational field trip opportunity aimed at Upper Elementary & Middle School students that combines the excitement of soccer with the excitement of STEM. Held annually in May, in 2024 we welcomed 3500 students & educators! Students enjoy an engaging field trip to Trinity Health Stadium in Hartford to showcase projects and visit displays from our corporate & community STEM partners, and then enjoy a Hartford Athletic exhibition match. We do not provide guidelines, or an assessment rubric, for project displays – STEM & Soccer Education Day is a celebration of the work that already goes on in your schools.
We will have a confirmed date for STEM & Soccer Education Day in January 2025. Tickets cost $12.50, and all students receive a STEM & Soccer Education Day Workbook. Chaperone tickets are complimentary, and we have complimentary student tickets available for eligible schools courtesy of our Green & Blue Foundation.
