After a 1-0 win on Friday night, the Boys in Green have a quick turnaround to Monday night when Loudoun United FC comes to Dillon in the first of four matches between these two squads in Hartford. Head Coach Radhi Jaïdi's squad has some fine-tuning to do after Friday night's display that saw RBII launch 20 shots to Hartford's 6. Loudoun is a welcome sight for Hartford though, the only team Hartford beat in both matchups last season, a 2-1 win in DC in May and a 5-1 win at Dillon Stadium in September. The Boys in Red and White will be well rested, Monday night's game is their first since the restart.
HARTFORD ATHLETIC vs LOUDOUN UNITED FC

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
Hartford Athletic, Parfait Mandanda, GK #35:
If you missed Friday's match, Parfait did it all. He made 3 saves, recorded a clean sheet, and assisted on the only goal of the match, delivering a beautiful ball almost 70 yards to Cheno Guzmán. The Hartford defensive effort was not at the level Head Coach Radhi Jaïdi desired with Red Bulls II getting 20 shots off. A two-day turnaround does not leave much time for adjustments or improvements so Mandanda may need to be the man once again.
Loudoun United FC: Michael Gamble, F, #10:
Experience is lacking in this Loudoun United squad and Gamble is one of the few who have it. A former New England Revolution draftee, Gamble knows the USL Championship better than most of the boys in Red-and-White, playing the 2018 season with Tulsa Roughnecks. Gamble made 24 starts and appeared in 30 matches scoring 3 goals.
ABOUT THE OPPONENT:
Monday will mark the first match since the restart for Loudoun United. The Red-and-White will be well rested, and won’t play another match until August 2nd, back at Dillon Stadium, the first of four trips Loudoun will make to Connecticut. Loudoun played their first match of the season back in March, playing to a scoreless draw against fellow Group F opponent Philadelphia Union II. With at least two starters from that match in Orlando with D.C. United for the MLS is Back Tournament, expect them to be a bit shorthanded on Monday night.
